All Saint's Episcopal Church Yard (27th and Whitis Ave.)

My landscape is at the yard of the All Saint's Episcopal Church (27th and Whitis Ave.). It is right behind the Kinsolving Dormitory. I am standing right in the middle of the yard. I chose this spot because it is a very serene and beautiful place where a lot of people pass by.

The area’s main purpose is a yard for the church and its church-goers. Many people passed by me to go into the church. There were a few people who sat down, talked, and rested at the benches.

To the east was the little recreational/resting place where the benches and tables were. The area had several wooden benches and vegetation surrounding it. There were little trees and bushes all around that area.

To the north of my position was the wall of the Church. The church is constructed with large blocks of stone. The building has a traditional, older feel to it compared the more modern buildings around it like the Kinsolving Dormitory. The wall had bushes lined at the bottom. There were several glass windows on the wall with decorations inside of them.

 

To the south of my position is the Kinsolving Dormitory on the UT campus and a parking lot.

To the west was a nice little pathway leading to the entrance of the Church. The path was very well-lit with lamp posts for walkers. Nice, trimmed, green vegetation lined the sides of the pathway. Whitis Avenue is behind the pathway, which had several cars parked along the sides.
